Dance Fever Recount

On Monday 9 December, we did Dance Fever. We ran through our Foxtrot, Cha cha, and our Hip Hop Routine. We did our lesson together with Room 7. It was fun. Sadly, it was our last session with them.

Orienteering Recount

On Tuesday 10 December, we had orienteering. It was the real game. Everyone was ready for the race. As soon as we were ready, we ran to the control points. Some people were confused of which way was North. I went to G, H, K, L, J, so many letters I had to go to. I was so tired I wanted to give up, but I didn't wanted to.

I was up to my last control, and I ran as fast as my leg could carry me. When, I got to Irene (Instructor), she gave me another course to do. I was dead, when she gave me the other course. I ran control of course 2. I ran, and walked to the controls. As soon as I looked at my paper, I was relieved, because it was I had finished my course. I ran happily to the finish line, and gave Irene the paper. Finally, I thought to myself, 'Yes, I finished!'. I rested down on the bench. 'I've done it' I thought to myself.

Netbook Reflection 2013

This year, the special thing I have learnt from my teacher is new ways of writing from templates on my netbook, they had shared this year. Netbooks also improved my reading and maths on Sunshine Online, and Maths Whizz.
The significant thing I have learnt myself, is going online to post up my work on my personal blog.
This year I learnt from my friends, different kinds of learning sites like Maths Magician, and Maths 101.
I have paired up with a partner to finish up our presentations by sharing it to each other.
Using my netbook helps me to think, relate to others, using signs, and symbols, managing myself, and participating, and contributing.
Having a netbook that is connected to the internet, has helped my learning in so many ways. Everyday, I get new words, and new description words from my netbook on different websites. Netbooks are also very helpful with our researches.

Our Fijian Visitors comes to Thank New Zealnd

Wow!, just Wow!, I am speechless. I am just amazed of what I just saw in our school hall. Their presentation, singing, EVERYTHING, was just a BLAST. First, their haka, then singing, and greeting. Wow!. Visitors from Fiji came to thank New Zealand, for supporting them in Fiji. They were students from Gospel High School (GHS), Fiji. There were more than 20 of them. The year 8 boy from Glenbrae School, performed a haka while Mrs Raj welcomes them in.

First of all, the Gospel High boys performed a Fijian haka to the school. The language, moves was all about confidence, and show how proud they were. The girls introduced themselves, and sang a greeting song. When they played the songs, the Gospel High students came, and greet everyone in the school. It was amazing, how we met them.

Second, the GHS students, performed us a dance. The boys forming a line in the front sitting, and two lines of girls behind them. They were well organized. They danced beautifully, especially the girls. The boys on the other hand was perfect. After that, they did an ice breaker, by sing the Fruit Song. It was fun for everyone, and we really enjoyed it.

When the song finished, the GHS students sang a song to us. Their voices was melodic, and their song was very harmonic. Especially 'Api's solo. His voice was really great. Amazing gift from God.

At the end, they sang a beautiful song, while we leave. Waving goodbye, and shaking hands. I wish they could come again. Thank you Gospel High School Students for coming over. Farewell.

Dance Fever Recount

This morning was very cool. First thing was Dance Fever. Christina, and Captain came a bit late. We got started straight away. Everyone got in their partners they were with last Tuesday. My partner was late, so I had to be partners with Gemima.

We started with the Foxtrot Dance. I knew the moves, but I kept doing them wrong. First, we had to introduce our partners to the hall. It kind of felt weird, because I had never done this kind of thing before. So it was my first time. Gemima got mixed up sometimes. It's all right because we did our best.

Secondly, we did our Cha cha Dance. The song was pretty fast, but we managed to do our move correctly. The second song was faster, so everyone danced fast. It was so fast nearly the whole class got mixed up.

Lastly, we did our Hip Hop routine. Everyone in the class cheered, "Yeah!". Every got into there canon lines. The song was the same, and everyone danced very well. At the end, we did a little dance time. We danced to Gangnam Style. I can't wait for next week. YES!!

My Long Weekend Recount

Waking up was very hard. Trying to open your eyes when you can’t because, it feels lazy from that long sleep. Trying to sit up, when you can’t because, you feel very lazy. Well, I managed the laziness like the Allies managing the Nazis. I got up just in time for breakfast. Breakfast was scrumptious. I had a shower, and packed up my togs for swimming in the pools. We drove to the supermarket, to buy some snacks for my brother, and I to have while we were at the pools.
When we got to the pools, my Dad went to the gym while, my brother, and I ran to the changing rooms, and got changed. We hopped in, and the pools was warm as baked cookies straight out of the oven. My brother, and I met this boy straight away as we got in the pool. ‘Yes, a new friend’ I thought in my head. My brother, and I was playing for hours, it was very hot as the sun in the water, until it was 1:00pm. My brother, and I got out, and ate half of our snacks. We jumped back in the pool, and relaxed until it was 3:00pm. My brother, and I got out of the pools, and changed into dry clothes.

While, my Dad, brother, and I was waiting for my Mum. My brother, and I ate the rest of our snacks. We waited, and waited for an hour, and a half. It was as boring as hell. After two hours, my sister showed up. “Lisiate, let’s go!” she called out to me. We were relieved, and when we got home, we were so exhausted. My friends came over, and we played until, it got dark. I got home, had a shower, and had dinner. Bedtime, finally, I fell into a very DEEP sleep. Sweet Dreams.

Dance Fever Recount

Today Room 10 had the other lesson today. I lost count of how many lessons we had. Way to many lessons. First, we started of our Foxtrot Dance. It was very simple, easy, and short. The boys had to choose a girl to be partners with.

Secondly, we did our Cha Cha dance. It was very difficult because my brain wouldn't let me remember the moves, and then I got it right. I was partners with Katalina. She was good at dancing. She taught me  during the lesson.

Lastly, we did Hip Hop it was very cool that we all know the moves. We ended by bogeying to Gangnam Style. It was very tiring, and cracking. We all felt tired, and went back to class, and wrote a recount about our lesson. Here I am writing them. I can't wait for next week, and I'll come earlier for the lesson.

Your Amazing Heart

1. When does your heart beat faster? When you exercise.
2. Apart from exercise, what makes your heart beat faster? When your nervous and scared.
3. Why do you think this happens? When you are nervous or scared, your blood pressure increase to support the main situation.
4. Explain to your partner why your heart is like any other muscle in your body? Our heart is a muscle because it pumps blood 24/7.

Orienteering Recount

Today, Room 10 had their second lesson in Orienteering. We got into it straight away. It was raining, but still we kept on going, I thought to myself to 'Never Give Up'. We were wet, and our backs was very damp. We still had fun. Hopefully, next week is a good day. Thank you Leon and Irene.

Mighty Muscles Reading Activities

Think about three kinds of athletes-Sprinters,weightlifters, and Gymnasts. They all use muscles in different ways. How are they different?

1 A. What do they need their muscles to do?
Sprinters: The calves, hamstring, shin, things is the muscles for the legs. The calves help the legs sprint.
Weightlifters: The biceps, triceps, shoulders, help the arms move. The thighs helps them stand up. It helps pull up the heavy weights.
Gymnasts: The flexibility helps the gymnasts do moves, like flips, doing the splits, and all the different moves. It uses all the muscles of the body.

1 B.Can you think of other sports in which athletes use their muscles in similar ways to these three kinds of athletes?
Shot Put: In Shot Put you use the biceps, triceps, and shoulders to push the shot put far.
High Jump: In high jump, you use the lower body strengths. Using all the muscles in the legs to make you jump high.
Rugby Players: rugby players use every part of their bodies. The arms, legs, shoulders, and brains to plan your next move.

1 C. When do you use muscles in the way they use theirs?
WHENEVER I CAN.

2. NOW THINK OF AN ACTIVITY THAT YOU DO, FOR EXAMPLE, MAKING A HAM AND LETTUCE SANDWICH. MINE ALL THE ACTION (TAKING THE HAM AND LETTUCE OUT OF THE FRIDGE, PICKING UP THE KNIFE, AND SO ON) WHILE YOUR PARTNER WRITES DO THE PARTS OF YOUR BODY AND THE MUSCLES THAT ARE INVOLVED. NOW MANY DOES IT TAKE TO DO THIS SIMPLE TASK?
  • ARMS
  • THIGHS
  • LEGS
  • FINGERS
  • SHOULDERS
  • BICEPS
  • TRICEPS
  • MOUTH (TO EAT)
3. TOGETHER, READ THROUGH THE CARD AGAIN. TAKE TURNS TO EXPLAIN HOW PAIRS OF MUSCLES WORK. HOW MANY PAIRS OF MUSCLES CAN YOU FIND IN THE BODY-FOR EXAMPLE, THE ONES YOU USE TO OPEN AND CLOSE YOUR MOUTH?
There are 642 muscles in our body, and There are 320 pairs of muscles in the body, including the biceps and triceps.

House Sports Recount

On Monday 18 November, we had House Sports. It was nerve wrecking for some people. My house group did Discuss with Mr Nath, up on the field. We were versing Kauri 2. We split up into two lines of girls and boys. From year 4 to year 8. First, the girls threw first. Every throw counts as one point. If it goes out of the cones, they lose a point. Secondly, the boys threw. Every threw was counted, but one went out of the cones. At the end, they add up all the points. The score was 19-16. Kauri won the discuss. It was a good game, and everyone was happy. Can't wait for the next House Sports.

Orienteering

Today, Room 10 had their first Orienteering lesson with the instructor Leon and Irene. First of all, we learned all the symbols of the map. There were lots, and we had to memorise them. I learned what all the symbols mean. Like: yellow is grass and green is trees. The spaghetti lines mean hills, the closer they are, the steeper it is. After , we went outside. The class was divided into two group. Each group for each instructor. We played Orienteering, it was fun-tastic. We were not allowed to go back after, we go pass the control. We had to go around again to stamp it in. It was very tiring. Next week, we are doing a real game of Orienteering going around the whole school. We are going to be in partners, and go find the controls. Next week is to be more tiring than today. Next week, everyone is going to have their game face. Especially, Christian and Tama who wants to compete each other.

Paintball Rage

One hot, sunny day we planned to go to the Paintball Arena near the airport. Christian, Nathaniel, Jerome, Alex, Anthony, and I were the ones who planned to go. We were very enthusiastic. Christian was tall, sporty, and into rugby, with brown skin, black hair. Nathaniel, handsome, rough, smart, tall, brownish white skin, and into rapping. Jerome, very tall, very smart, sometimes naughty, and into games. Alex, short, dark brown skin, smart, and into games. Anthony, tall, brown skin, kind of smart (no offense), and into sports. I, Lisiate, am smart, brown skinned, have black hair, and into games, and learning. When we got there, we got dressed up into paintball uniforms, and getting ready for battle. The game type was ‘Capture the Flag . We all got split up into teams. Nathaniel, Christian, and Anthony was in the red team. Alex, Jerome and I was in the Blue team. BEEP!! The starting alarm wakes up like a lion from its sleep. We all ran into our hiding places, and the shooting commenced. We were laughing, and shouting to “take cover.” “Chris cover me!!” Nathaniel shouted out to Christian. “Lisiate shoot Nathaniel!!” Jerome called out to me while Nathaniel was running to our flag. “Nathaniel WATCH OUT!!” Anthony warned Nathaniel, and ‘BANG’ I shot the paintball to Nathaniel and “OUCH!!” Nathaniel called out and fell on the ground. We all stopped and ran to him. When Nathaniel turned around, there was green paint all over his goggles. It was from my shot. He took off the glasses, and there was a red mark around his eyes. It was from the pressure from the paintball which pushed the goggles in to his skin. He stood up, and looked at me like a bull seeing everything red. He got angry at me, and we nearly had a fight. Nathaniel took a swing, and he missed. The others stopped him. He was still angry like a lion being disturbed from it’s sleep. So he tried to get his paintball gun, and Christian snatched of him. After 2 minutes, we both felt calm, and I apologize to Nathaniel. “Sorry Nathaniel for shooting you. I won’t do it again.” I said to Nathaniel. We all got back to places, and started again. We all had a great time. We all laughed, acting like we are in a real war, and commanding each other orders. We had so much fun. The time ran out, and we all got changed back. We had a snack at the benches. There was a paintball gun on the floor. The sun’s reflection shone over it, and it caught my eyes. I walked to it, and picked it up. I aimed at Nathaniel’s shoulders. The gun felt so light it had no ammo inside. I pulled the trigger and all of a sudden, “OUCH!!!”.

Pumping Pedals Reading Activities

“ Pumping Pedals” by Maggie Lilleby SJ Part 4 Number 3 2004 1. Recall Give a brief summary of the story. It was a Friday evening at the Tahunanui BMX tracks in Nelson. Sally Davies the only girl in the competition against the boys. She use to go and watch the BMX race with her dad and she thought that she would have a try. She says that BMXing appeals to her favourite sport. When she races, she gives it everything that she got. Sometimes she beats the boys. She wanted to see girls on the track, joining in. She wears protective gear like long sleeves, top and bottom, thick gloves and a full face helmet. She really enjoys BMX. 2. Infer What kind of a person is Sally Davies? Tell why you think this. She is a sporty kind of person because, she is into BMX and try out everything. 3. Evaluate Explain why you think the author entitled the story as “Pumping Pedals” I think that the Author titled the story ‘Pumping Pedals’ because BMX, you have to pedal hard and faster. 4. Think about it Why do you think Sally would like to attract more girls to the sport of BMX racing? Because she doesn’t want to be the only girl in the sport and wants more girls to join in. 5. Recall How are the bikes designed and what are they made of? They are designed to have good pedals and strong wheels. They are made of steel, chains and rubber. 6. Think about it. Why did Sally groan as she remembered her first racing bike? She groaned because the bike was a freestyle bike, it was heavy, with huge tyres. 7. Please explain the racing technique called “pumping” and why it might be important? "Pumping Pedals" Pumping is important because we have to pump the pedals to make the bike go. 8. In your opinion, do these precautions go far enough to make the sport safe? The precautions is far enough to make sport safe, because, everything they’re wearing is fireproof. Even the car itself is safe, because when the car crashes, the fire extinguisher will spray at the driver and the engine to protect the driver from going on fire, and the engine exploding, or getting on fire. 6. Use details from the text to tell why the sport is dangerous. Although Chris has several accidents during his karting career, so far he’s had only one major accident in car racing. 7. My Experience of the Volcanic Mounts of Auckland

I have visited all the volcanic mountains of Auckland. Mt Eden had a very steep crater. No one is allowed to go in the crater. In Mt Eden there is certain areas where public is not allowed because it would cause more erosion. It was very windy and cold. Three Kings was a small mountain which had a reservoir. We had to walk up and no vehicles were allowed. It didn't have a trig point. On our way to the top, we walked on water pipes. The pipe was 30 centimetres wide (approx) to walk on. When we got tot the top there was huge reservoir full of water only for emergencies. Mt Roskill was a small mountain and very noisy because it was next to the motorway. It was also very windy there. Mt Wellington is a big mountain. It had a flat surface and underneath was the reservoir. You can only drive three quarters of the way and the rest you have to walk to the trig point. It had a very steep crater. Mt Richmond was a small mountain. You have to walk to the summit. It had trees which had huge, strong roots popping out. Mangere Mountain was a very huge mountain near the Mangere Bridge. It was bigger than Mt Wellington and Mt Eden. The crater was also steep, and rocky. It had to trig points. There was three craters and a 'Lava Dome'. It was exciting. Mt Albert you can drive all the way to the summit. There was this steep hill going down and we slid down on the grass. It was fun, more fun than than a real slide. It had a 'Long Drop Toilets'. We climbed the trees like monkeys, taking photos, and jumping off. One Tree Hill you can drive all the way to the summit. It had lots of craters. On our way up, people was making words with the rocks. One of them said 'JESUS IS LORD'. At the summit it had a huge obelisk with a statue of Kupe. Sir John Logan Campbell was the one who donated the Cornwall Park site to the public of Auckland in 1901. You can see a nice view of the areas around. Mt St John was a little known mounts for most of the people of Auckland. In it's crater, there is a little pond. The mountain didn't have a trig but it had a view of Mt Hobson. Maori Pa use to be there about a hundred years ago. Mt Hobson a big mountain also. You have to walk all the way. It had a swing on it. It had a trig point. It was a little steep. We were standing near the entrance to the reservoir. It was creepy inside because it was dark with pipes. Inside was an interior door. Mt Victoria was a mountain with navy communication systems. It had a big gun called the 'Disappearing Gun'. It also had a field of red with white poky dots mushrooms. North Head was AMAZING even try for yourself.

Hip to the Hop Dance Lesson

Today Room 10 had there first dancing lesson. The instructors names were Christina and Captain. It was fun, and exciting. The instructors taught us Hip Hop. I had not done Hip Hop dancing before, so it was my first time. The Hip Hop moves are easy. It was very cool. We were dancing to the song ‘Boom Boom’ by Justice Crew. Dancing is one of my favourite thing to do. Even though I can’t dance, I like to dance. I truly can’t wait for next weeks lesson. Thanks Dance Fever.

Reasons to Stop the War

Do you ever feel sad when you hear the radio or see the news that a soldier has been killed?
Well, the war should have never started in the first place. What happened on September 11th, 2001 was terrible. The terrorist attacks were both traumatic and horrible for everyone. Although the attacks on the Twin Towers were no means to begin a war. I believe that people should stop the war, because other countries are getting involved in the hysteria, children being blurred by the violence and stop our troops dying.

First of all, I believe the war should have not started in the first place, because Afghanistan is going to be a ghostland . In fact, Afghanistan is not the only country that’s having a war, other countries is having a conflict like Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Pakistan, North Korea and Colombia are in trouble like Afghanistan.

Secondly, we should stop the war because children are being disillusioned by the horror around them. In addition, people’s homes are destroyed because of rockets and missiles attacking. In addition, the killing is increasing in every minute.

Finally, I believe we should send troops back from Afghanistan, so they can be safe from the bullets flying all over the place. In addition, many soldiers are being killed.  In fact, hundreds of innocent people are being shot to death in Afghanistan.  For example, one day, God might not forgive the hysteria happening right now. He might even punish them for what they have done wrong.
It is extremely important to stop this war because many of our brave men and women are being killed by this crazy war. The world would be a better place with no madness, craziness, and sadness. The President of the United States might say a happy speech if the war stopped. Just imagine living in a world full of peace and harmony without having any wars.

Squash for 4 days straight,YAY!!

Just last week, Glenbrae had a squash lesson for a week. Squash was a sport, kind of like Tennis or Badminton. It was my first time playing that sport. It looked kind of weird for me, but it was very fun. The sport ‘Squash’ used wrackets like tennis and a small soft ball. I learned how to play and learned skills of how to trick our opponents and get them out.

In the past 4 days, we had relays, competitions, rallying and practices. It was a very exciting sport to play, versing your partner and trying to be the ‘King of Squash’ in the class. Christian, Moli, Siupeli and I won and we had to verse each other to be the King. Out of the four of us, Siupeli was the King.

It was the last day of ‘Squash’ on Friday. The class was splitted into four groups. I was in group one. We had to play against groups to get the most points. My group won with 33 points and the others lost with a tie of 22 points. The Coach suddenly said that we had to do a relay and whichever team that wins get an extra 10 points. Group two won the race and they had 22 first and got an extra 10 makes them get 32 points, so my group won by 1 point.

Squash is now one of my favourite sports. I feel excited to know how to play squash. I can’t wait until I play squash again next time.

Our 'Intense' Softball Competition

Today Room 10 had their second softball lesson. It was fascinating and we learned to catch with the gloves on. We had to get into pairs and face opposite each other. First, we roll the ball and try to catch it. Second, we threw the ball high so we can learn to catch a high ball. Lastly, we had a competition. We had to throw the ball to my partner. Every time you we catch the ball, we can take one step back. We had to keep on doing that until we reach the furthest. The time was up and the people that had the least distance loses. There was another three groups that won, so we had to throw and catch the ball as many times as the other team or they will be out. Nathaniel and I was tied with Christian and Siupeli. Christian threw the ball and Siupeli missed it. Siupeli threw his hardest and Christian ran and catches it. Nathaniel and I had to catch both of the balls to win. The competition got so intense that Nathaniel and I was about to fail but, we didn't we actually won. Not to mention it was our first time. But we were happy. I can’t wait until next week because we are learning to use the bat. WOOHOO!!

Our Valentine Birthday

Orientation: “Hmmm!! I wonder if we are going to Valentines?” I asked myself as soon as I woke up from a comfortable early sleep. The game sound wakes me with people shouting and calling. I see my game freak brother playing games, I wondered what time he woke up and started eating the power. I asked him what time he woke up, but he didn’t respond back because he was busy concentrating on the game.

I walked to the kitchen to see what was the time and it was 7:38. I sighed because I hope the time was like ten something so my mum can be awake and make breakfast for us hungry sleepers. I made myself some cereal and ate it up fast. THUMP! THUMP!! I heard my mum coming. “Morning” I said, “Morning” she replied back.

“Hurry up and have tea because we are going to a birthday in Valentines!!” my mum called out. We had tea, a shower, got dressed and getting ready. I look at the time and it was 12:29, “MUM! What time does the thing start!?” I called out, “ONE o'clock!!” she replied shouting back.

Middle: We were on our way to Valentines. When we got there we saw lots of people. The children went inside to the buffet first, so the adults can continue on their program. There was lots of different kind of foods like hot chips, corn carne, battered fish, spring rolls, a mix of healthy food and junk food. The plates full of oysters and other stuff.

I see mouths busy, munching, crunching, talking and laughing. I ate my food and it was delicious. I had a full stomach from all that junk and healthy food. I walked to the dessert area and I can see freezing ice-cream,, freshly made pavlova and mouthwatering cake sitting there calling me to eat them up. I took four pieces of cake and topped them with chocolate ice-cream. YUMMY!!

I sat at my spot and my spoon ready to dig in, but all of a sudden... POP!, someone’s balloon popped, giving 3 to 5 people a fright. My mouth filled with sweetness and my spoon looking muddy. It wasn't actually mud, it was chocolate.

End: We felt tired and I went and played with my friends. Shortly, my mum called, “ It’s time to go home”. I sighed and walked to the van and my sister and brother was waiting. We were on our way home.

As soon as I got home, I felt so tired, I went to sleep when we got home. That was the best birthday place ever. I can’t wait until I go there again someday.

The 66th Anniversary of Roswell UFO Incident

Yesterday, was the 66th Anniversary of the Roswell UFO Incident. As you can see I am really self-interested in UFO's. The Roswell UFO incident took place in the U.S. in 1947, when an airborne object crashed on a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico, on July 7, 1947. Explanations of what actually took place are based on both official and unofficial communications. Although the crash is attributed to a U.S. military surveillance balloon by the U.S. government, the most famous explanation of what occurred is that the object was a spacecraft containing extraterrestrial life.

Our Last Soccer Session with Ben

Today Room 10 had their soccer lesson. It was a very hot day. We were the first class to do the session. Our Coach Ben, told us that we are going to have a mini tournament. We had to split into six groups. I was on the sixth group. Malulu,June and Tama was in the team. Our body getting ready to play some soccer and blood pressure rising madly.

First, we versed the first group. Christian, Hannah, Moli and Danielle was in that group. “ Come on! We can win this !” I shouted. Ben blew the whistle and we all started to play. The first group was very good at soccer. “YES!! WE GOT A SCORE!!” Christian cheered as Moli scored a goal. They passed, kicked, scored and cheered as they played along. They were good as the all whites. The first group won the first game, four to zero.

Secondly, we went stayed at the same court and versed group 4. They looked very easy with all their players, but at least they tried. They kicked the ball out, missed the scores and passed crookedly. They tried really hard, but I think they didn't know how to play because they are still learning. The team was like a herd of elephants following the soccer ball. When the ball goes in the corner. they all went there. Some even stood and just talked to the friends. “YAY!!” Anamanu shouted when she kicked the ball. We got 4 scores. Tama, June, Malulu and I scored.

Thirdly, we had to verse them again. We knew we are going to win again. My team kicked the ball as hard as a rhino. We scored as good as David Beckham. We got 7 scores and we won. The other team looked as bored as a Tour De France to watch. “YEAH!! WOOHOO!!” we cheered so loud as a NFL fans cheering when getting a touchdown. We moved on to the next team. We knew they were waiting for us.

Lastly, we played group three, they looked very difficult to verse. We started to play and Siupeli getting the ball, stepping Tama, but Tama gets the ball and misses the goal. “OHHH!!” we shouted. “ALL GOOD, TAMA!!” we shouted to make not make him embarrassed. We were competing each other like we were in a real soccer game. The time was up and no one scored. Too bad at least we had a good game. Today, was Ben’s last session with us because it the holidays next week.

Zombie Apocalypse on Earth

WALT:Write a Narrative

It was a dark scary night in a place called Zombieville. Zombieville was the place which had 1 million zombies. Earth was deserted, it was not people... it was ZOMBIES. There was only one survivor that lived there. His name was Richard. He had black hair, brown skin and was a very brave man. Richard was a very quiet person with no morals left to cross. He lived in a town called Metropolis. Metropolis was a big town which had robots and futuristic objects like flying cars. Metropolis use to look clean and shiny, but when the zombie apocalypse started, it looked like a dying city with metal bits flying, cars crashing down and automatic system not working. The whole place was orange and smog was ruling.

As Richard walked down to his car, he heard a noise. EEEERRRR!! Richard was alerted and pulled out a ray gun. He sees two small blue lights moving toward him. The small light started to look like eyes and there was a body which was rotting. CHICK! CHICK! BOOM! Richard shoots his double barrel shotgun. The lights flashed off and fell to the ground. As Richard walks towards the thing that fell he was wondering what it is. He couldn’t believe it. His eyes were frightened and hands shaking. “Zombie” whispered Richard to himself.

He jumps in his car and drove so fast into the air he automatically teleported to  Metropolis System Base. The place looked wrecked. Richard walks inside. He sees lots of blue lights looking at him hiding in the dark shadows. RRAAHHH!!! Zombies jumps towards Richard. BANG!!BOOM!!CRASH!!SMASH!! Richard kills the zombies as fast as lightning. He feels tired of all that hard work. Walking towards the ‘ON’ button. He pressed the button and then suddenly.... CLICK!CRACK!DING!DONG! The machine starts up and.... TICK!TICK!TICK! The lights turn on and all the automatic system are on at Metropolis. “Automatic System ON, System Base ON and Metropolis ON” said the computer.

CLICK!CLACK!CLICK!CLACK! A zombie walks towards Richard...SWING! He hits the zombie with a baseball bat. SPLAT! Bits of the zombie’s come off and hits the wall. Richard runs to his car and ... SMASH!CRACK! His car’s window cracked because the zombies have smashed it, one of the zombies hands came off. They run towards him, the zombies ran as fast as a Cheetah. Richard shoots his pistol BOOM!BOOM!SPLAT!SPLAT!! The zombies falls hard to the floor. Richard, then gets in his car and... SWOOSH!! He teleports to some place where he didn’t know. He wanders around looking and he sees a big sign with glowing lights saying ‘Welcome to ZOMBIEVILLE’.

He hears something and feels like someone was watching him. SCATTER!SCATTER! Something or someone ran behind him. He looks at the back and sees nothing. SCATTER!SCATTER! He looks to the front and sees nothing. Richard continues to walk and at the back of him was a black figure with sharp fingers and red glowing eyes. Richard looks back and the figure disappeared in the air.Richard walks, then joggs and the runs. The black shadow pushed him and Richard fell to the ground. He got back up and was alerted.

The black shadow stands in front of him and Richard holding his shotgun facing the shadow. Behind the black shadow was 1 million red eyes looking at him with teeths showing and dripping with blood. The black shadow screams RRAAHHH!! The red eyes jumped out of the shadows and running to Richard. BOOM!! He shoots the zombies, but only two dies. He ran out of the shotgun and shoots his pistol. BOOM!BOOM!CLICK! His pistols ran out and the only thing left was the bat. SWING!SWING!SPLAT!SMASH!WHIP! He hits so many time and only killed 10 of them. RRHH!! A zombie jumps behind Richard covering his eyes. AAAHHH!! Richard screams, “HELP ME SOMEBODY”. BOOM!!BOOM!!BOOM!!KABOOM!! A helicopter hovers on top of Richard protecting him. People in the helicopter shoot the zombies with their machine guns and RPGs. All 1 million zombies died and that was the last of them. The black shadow runs away and one of the guys in the heli sniped the shadow down. The helicopter landed and took Richard inside. The flew away and one of the shooters said, “Richard, is that you?” Richard looks around and sees his little brother. “YES, it is me. Bro” answered Richard. The helicopter flew all the way to Metropolis.

The ground opened up and the helicopter landed. Doors opened and all the people in the world was underground. There was an underground world. We told everyone, “There are no more zombies on Earth. We can go back out and fix our planet.!” The doors opened with ramps to the way out. Everyone rushes outside for fresh air. The took Richard to the hospital and fixed him. He was all fixed up and looked like he wasn’t injured any more.

200 years late, Earth look the way it was, all clean and green. Richard, his brother and the helicopter crew was in the Heavens looking down at Earth. If there was another zombie apocalypse, the team in Heaven watching will protect Earth in all cost, just like what they did in Zombieville and Metropolis.

10 years later,It was a dark scary night in a place called Zombieville.....RAAHH!!

Soccer Lesson 3

Hooray! We are having a soccer lesson!. We lined up and Ben said, "Next week is my last session with you guys, should we play a game of soccer today and next week do our last soccer skills?" "YES!" Room 10 replied. We were divided into four groups. The first two teams was versing each other. Both teams was very nervous. They started the game in a enthusiastic manner. The ball fly's in the air and when the ball was near the goal, the team was scared and loose. The teammates runs as fast as they can and saves the ball. The time was up and it was our turn. We felt charged as a battery. Kicking, jumping, defending, running and scoring all over the place where the ball goes. It was a very close game but the time ran out. The blue team did very well. All the games was close. At the end we felt very tired and sweaty. I said thank-you to Ben for teaching us lots of soccer skills and we enjoyed the soccer game. I felt disconsolate because next week is our last soccer session.
