Reasons to Stop the War
Do you ever feel sad when you hear the radio or see the news that a soldier has been killed?
Well, the war should have never started in the first place. What happened on September 11th, 2001 was terrible. The terrorist attacks were both traumatic and horrible for everyone. Although the attacks on the Twin Towers were no means to begin a war. I believe that people should stop the war, because other countries are getting involved in the hysteria, children being blurred by the violence and stop our troops dying.
First of all, I believe the war should have not started in the first place, because Afghanistan is going to be a ghostland . In fact, Afghanistan is not the only country that’s having a war, other countries is having a conflict like Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Pakistan, North Korea and Colombia are in trouble like Afghanistan.
Secondly, we should stop the war because children are being disillusioned by the horror around them. In addition, people’s homes are destroyed because of rockets and missiles attacking. In addition, the killing is increasing in every minute.
Finally, I believe we should send troops back from Afghanistan, so they can be safe from the bullets flying all over the place. In addition, many soldiers are being killed. In fact, hundreds of innocent people are being shot to death in Afghanistan. For example, one day, God might not forgive the hysteria happening right now. He might even punish them for what they have done wrong.
It is extremely important to stop this war because many of our brave men and women are being killed by this crazy war. The world would be a better place with no madness, craziness, and sadness. The President of the United States might say a happy speech if the war stopped. Just imagine living in a world full of peace and harmony without having any wars.

Squash for 4 days straight,YAY!!
Just last week, Glenbrae had a squash lesson for a week. Squash was a sport, kind of like Tennis or Badminton. It was my first time playing that sport. It looked kind of weird for me, but it was very fun. The sport ‘Squash’ used wrackets like tennis and a small soft ball. I learned how to play and learned skills of how to trick our opponents and get them out.
In the past 4 days, we had relays, competitions, rallying and practices. It was a very exciting sport to play, versing your partner and trying to be the ‘King of Squash’ in the class. Christian, Moli, Siupeli and I won and we had to verse each other to be the King. Out of the four of us, Siupeli was the King.
It was the last day of ‘Squash’ on Friday. The class was splitted into four groups. I was in group one. We had to play against groups to get the most points. My group won with 33 points and the others lost with a tie of 22 points. The Coach suddenly said that we had to do a relay and whichever team that wins get an extra 10 points. Group two won the race and they had 22 first and got an extra 10 makes them get 32 points, so my group won by 1 point.
Squash is now one of my favourite sports. I feel excited to know how to play squash. I can’t wait until I play squash again next time.
Our 'Intense' Softball Competition
Today Room 10 had their second softball lesson. It was fascinating and we learned to catch with the gloves on. We had to get into pairs and face opposite each other. First, we roll the ball and try to catch it. Second, we threw the ball high so we can learn to catch a high ball. Lastly, we had a competition. We had to throw the ball to my partner. Every time you we catch the ball, we can take one step back. We had to keep on doing that until we reach the furthest. The time was up and the people that had the least distance loses. There was another three groups that won, so we had to throw and catch the ball as many times as the other team or they will be out. Nathaniel and I was tied with Christian and Siupeli. Christian threw the ball and Siupeli missed it. Siupeli threw his hardest and Christian ran and catches it. Nathaniel and I had to catch both of the balls to win. The competition got so intense that Nathaniel and I was about to fail but, we didn't we actually won. Not to mention it was our first time. But we were happy. I can’t wait until next week because we are learning to use the bat. WOOHOO!!

Our Valentine Birthday
Orientation: “Hmmm!! I wonder if we are going to Valentines?” I asked myself as soon as I woke up from a comfortable early sleep. The game sound wakes me with people shouting and calling. I see my game freak brother playing games, I wondered what time he woke up and started eating the power. I asked him what time he woke up, but he didn’t respond back because he was busy concentrating on the game.
I walked to the kitchen to see what was the time and it was 7:38. I sighed because I hope the time was like ten something so my mum can be awake and make breakfast for us hungry sleepers. I made myself some cereal and ate it up fast. THUMP! THUMP!! I heard my mum coming. “Morning” I said, “Morning” she replied back.
“Hurry up and have tea because we are going to a birthday in Valentines!!” my mum called out. We had tea, a shower, got dressed and getting ready. I look at the time and it was 12:29, “MUM! What time does the thing start!?” I called out, “ONE o'clock!!” she replied shouting back.
Middle: We were on our way to Valentines. When we got there we saw lots of people. The children went inside to the buffet first, so the adults can continue on their program. There was lots of different kind of foods like hot chips, corn carne, battered fish, spring rolls, a mix of healthy food and junk food. The plates full of oysters and other stuff.
I see mouths busy, munching, crunching, talking and laughing. I ate my food and it was delicious. I had a full stomach from all that junk and healthy food. I walked to the dessert area and I can see freezing ice-cream,, freshly made pavlova and mouthwatering cake sitting there calling me to eat them up. I took four pieces of cake and topped them with chocolate ice-cream. YUMMY!!
I sat at my spot and my spoon ready to dig in, but all of a sudden... POP!, someone’s balloon popped, giving 3 to 5 people a fright. My mouth filled with sweetness and my spoon looking muddy. It wasn't actually mud, it was chocolate.
End: We felt tired and I went and played with my friends. Shortly, my mum called, “ It’s time to go home”. I sighed and walked to the van and my sister and brother was waiting. We were on our way home.
As soon as I got home, I felt so tired, I went to sleep when we got home. That was the best birthday place ever. I can’t wait until I go there again someday.
