The Lesson with Constable Julie

Thanks to Constable Julie for the chart.
Today Constable Julie came to Room 7 and taught us about  'How long would it take for a vehicle to stop if it is going different speeds?'.

Each person stood with a number to show 10 metre arks up to 70 meters. If the car goes 30 kilometres per hour it would take 15 metres to stop.
Constable Julie let us estimate how long would the car need to stop if it goes 24,39,57,79 and 102 kilometres per hour. We stood in a group by the person holding the right number. The faster the car goes the more distance it needs to stop.Even if you have the best protection, you're still vulnerable. This chart shows how fast the vehicle will go per hour and how many metres will it need to stop on.
